Stephen Hine teaches one of the robotics classes and the robotics and co-teaches the Innovative Design Essentials course. He also teaches college preparatory and advanced placement level physics, a love of which began as a student at Los Altos High School in the 2000s. Hine’s goal in education is to provide students will more practical real world learning opportunities that do not follow traditional academics. Hine also serves as the community advisory council liaison between advisers and the Academy of Engineering and Design’s on-site teacher team. When not teaching, Hine enjoys scuba diving, rock climbing, and music events of any kind.
