Ben teaches specialized academic instruction courses, helping students build foundational academic skills. Ben received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, from Taylor University and spent time working with at-risk youth. After moving to California, he worked at an outdoor science program and then found his passion working with students who have behavioral and learning difficulties. He received a Special Education credential and masters degree from CSU Monterey Bay and has been teaching 11 years. Ben enjoys spending time outdoors camping, cycling, and exploring Santa Cruz with his family.
