Sarah Alvarado is a Social Studies teacher at Los Altos High School. While her passion is in history, she advocates for practical skills students can use in every aspect of their education and lives. For the Academy, she is currently co-teaching the Innovative Design Essentials course, the introductory course to the academy, which teaches students foundation skills for making empathy-based decisions and conducting relevant and accurate research.
