I attended UC Irvine and majored in Information and Computer Science (I also interned at Western Digital during and after my senior year). Following graduation in 2004, I spent four years in Japan, learning the language and working first as an English teacher and then as a Web programmer. Returning to the US in 2008, I realized how much I enjoyed teaching, and entered Cal State East Bay’s credential program. After working for 5 years in Hayward as a math teacher, I moved to LAHS in 2014 where I currently teach math (Statistics) and AP Computer Science. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my wife, 2 boys, and following my beloved Portland Trail Blazers.
